1. About AnchorPoint Consulting

This website, www.anchorpointconsulting.org, is operated by Anchorpoint Consulting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15888747.

We provide professional branding, design, marketing, digital and business consulting services to businesses, organisations and individuals.

By using our website, you agree to these website terms. If you engage us to provide professional services, your engagement is also governed by your accepted proposal, statement of work or other written agreement, together with these terms where applicable.

2. Our Services

Our services may include:

  • Brand strategy, identity and visual design

  • Website strategy, design and development

  • Marketing and communications strategy

  • Brand positioning, messaging and copywriting

  • Content creation and creative direction

  • Research, analysis and business consulting

  • Other related creative or advisory services agreed with a client

Each engagement is tailored to the client's requirements. The precise scope, deliverables, schedule and price will be confirmed before paid work begins.

Information on our website is intended to describe our services and does not constitute a binding offer to undertake a particular project.

3. Enquiries and Project Agreements

Clients may contact us through our website or by email to discuss their requirements.

Following an initial discussion, we may provide a written proposal or quotation outlining the agreed services, deliverables, pricing, estimated schedule and payment arrangements.

A project agreement is formed when the proposal or agreed scope is accepted in writing and any stated conditions for commencing work have been met.

Submitting an enquiry or arranging an initial consultation does not create an obligation to purchase our services.

Where an individually agreed written contract conflicts with these general terms, the individually agreed terms take precedence to the extent of that conflict.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices displayed on our website are indicative starting prices unless expressly stated otherwise. The final price of each project depends on its agreed requirements and scope.

The applicable quotation will state the total agreed fee, transaction currency, applicable taxes and any additional third-party costs.

Depending on the engagement, payment may be requested upfront, in instalments, against project milestones or following delivery. The applicable amounts and due dates will be stated in the accepted proposal or invoice.

Payment methods may include bank transfer, card payment through an approved payment provider or another agreed method.

We will not introduce additional paid work or materially increase an agreed fee without the client's approval.

Late or outstanding payments may result in a pause to further services or the delivery of outstanding work, following reasonable notice and subject to applicable law.

5. Project Delivery and Timescales

Project timelines will be established in consultation with the client and recorded in the agreed proposal or project correspondence.

Unless otherwise agreed, our deliverables are provided electronically, including through email, secure file-sharing services, website platforms or agreed project systems.

We will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed deadlines. Where delivery depends on information, approvals, access or other materials supplied by the client, delays in receiving these items may affect the project schedule.

Any material change to the agreed schedule will be communicated as soon as reasonably practicable.

6. Client Responsibilities

To support the successful delivery of a project, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and reasonably complete project information

  • Supply required materials, content, access and approvals in a timely manner

  • Ensure they have permission to share and authorise the use of any materials supplied

  • Review work and provide feedback within agreed timeframes

  • Identify a suitable contact responsible for approvals and key project decisions

We are not responsible for delays or difficulties caused by inaccurate information, unavailable materials or missing approvals, except to the extent that we are responsible for those circumstances.

7. Revisions and Changes to Scope

The number and nature of revisions included in a project will be established in the accepted proposal.

Requests that materially change the original scope, introduce additional deliverables or require substantial reworking beyond the agreed revisions may be subject to a separate quotation.

We will communicate any additional fees and obtain approval before carrying out chargeable work outside the agreed scope.

8. Intellectual Property and Deliverables

Clients retain ownership of their own trademarks, materials, information and content supplied to us.

Ownership and permitted use of newly created project deliverables will be determined by the accepted proposal or written project agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, following full payment for the relevant deliverables, the client receives permission to use those final deliverables for the purposes agreed in the project scope.

A transfer of copyright ownership, editable source files or other intellectual property rights will apply only where expressly agreed in writing.

We retain ownership of our pre-existing materials, working methods, templates, tools, preliminary concepts and other intellectual property not expressly transferred.

Third-party materials, including fonts, stock photography, software, website themes and licensed assets, remain subject to their respective licence terms.

9. Confidentiality

We recognise that clients may share confidential commercial, financial, strategic or operational information during a project.

We will take reasonable steps to protect information identified as confidential or reasonably understood to be confidential and will use it only for legitimate purposes connected with providing our services, unless disclosure is authorised or required by law.

Clients must similarly respect confidential information provided by AnchorPoint Consulting.

Any separately agreed confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement will take precedence where applicable.

10. Third-Party Platforms and Services

Some projects may involve third-party platforms, hosting providers, website services, software subscriptions or external suppliers.

Where third-party services are required, responsibility for licences, recurring costs, account ownership, renewals and ongoing maintenance will be clarified in the project agreement.

We are not responsible for changes, outages, restrictions or discontinuation of third-party services outside our reasonable control. This does not exclude any responsibility we have under applicable law.

11. Results and Professional Standards

We aim to deliver thoughtful, professional work that meets the agreed project requirements.

Marketing, branding and consulting work may involve recommendations and decisions whose outcomes depend on market conditions, client implementation and other factors outside our control.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not guarantee particular levels of sales, engagement, enquiries, revenue or commercial performance.

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.

12. Cancellation and Refunds

Clients may request to cancel a project by contacting us in writing.

The financial consequences of cancellation depend on the agreed scope, work completed, payments received, any properly incurred commitments and applicable legal rights.

Our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy explains this process and forms part of these terms where applicable.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes statutory rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

13. Liability

Each party remains responsible for its obligations under the relevant agreement and applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Any additional limitations of liability for a business-to-business engagement must be set out in the agreed project contract and remain subject to applicable law.

14. Website Content

The text, designs, branding, images and other materials appearing on this website belong to AnchorPoint Consulting or their respective rights holders.

They may not be reproduced or commercially exploited without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal protections applicable to a client.

If a concern arises, we encourage clients to contact us first so that we can seek a fair and practical resolution.

Nothing in these terms prevents a consumer from exercising their statutory rights or pursuing remedies available under applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, operating practices or legal obligations.

The updated version will be published on our website with a revised date. Changes will not retrospectively alter an existing project agreement unless agreed or otherwise permitted by law.
